How to Connect SolarEdge Inverters with the Sunroof App

Preconditions

• Your SolarEdge inverter must be connected to the internet.
• You need an account on the SolarEdge monitoring platform (either through the SolarEdge Monitoring website or the mySolarEdge app).
• Your account must have the Owner role on the SolarEdge site. This role is typically assigned to the system owner during initial setup by the installer.

Connecting Your SolarEdge Inverter with Sunroof

1. Open Sunroof.
2. Add a new SolarEdge device.
3. Log in with your SolarEdge credentials (the same credentials you use for the SolarEdge monitoring website or the mySolarEdge app).
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the connection.
